I remember the kickstarter and was thrilled to see it come to reality on the bigger market. I usually spend around at most $80 on a helmet in the past. But splurging with this one was well worth it. Fits like no other helmet I’ve owned. Made really well. Easy to use. The lights are and features are incredible. I got the MiPS version and feel even more comfortable and safe. Amazing design looks good and functional above all else. Highly recommend.. I’ll probably get another one in a few months to have A different color.

The improved battery life is significant. It eliminates the need to carry and charge the helmet for all rides longer than 2 hours. The handlebar left/right remote has not needed to be recharged since I’ve received it. The older remote signal device required weekly recharging. Nice change!!!!!!! Actual light visibility changes are hard to determine.Thank you for the upgrades.

I had an accident on my bicycle a few weeks ago and ended up with a punctured lung, five broken ribs, assorted scrapes and bruises and a chunk missing from my Lumos helmet. But my head was unharmed - no injury to my head whatsoever. I bought the MIPS version, and I think that my be why my neck didn't even hurt the next day.Thank you, Lumos, for this excellent product. It did its job brilliantly and I will be replacing it with another Lumos helmet.
