Kids’ Helmet with Built-In
Front & Rear Lights

Made to be seen. Made for growing riders.

Side by side at dusk: a child in a helmet without built-in lights, and a child in Lumos Snapix with the lights on

BUILT-IN VISIBILITY

Visible from the front and the back.

A built-in white front light and customizable RGB rear light help kids stand out from more directions in low light.

The lights are already part of the helmet, so there is no separate light to attach, remember or leave behind.

LUMOS LIGHT SYNC

Light up together

Use the Lumos app to sync Snapix light patterns with compatible Lumos helmets and bike lights.

Parents and kids can ride with coordinated light patterns across their Lumos gear, helping the whole family stay visually connected on the road.

More Coverage
Where It Matters.

Snapix is shaped to sit lower around the back of the head, giving young riders added coverage while keeping a comfortable everyday fit.

The extended rear profile can be seen clearly when the helmet is worn, so parents can understand the protection they are choosing.

PROTECTION OPTIONS

Choose the protection that fits their ride.

Every Snapix features a fully covered PC shell that protects the helmet’s EPS structure from everyday scuffs and knocks.

Selected sizes are also available with MIPS, a system designed to help reduce rotational motion from certain angled impacts.

Please chat with us

Which size should I choose?

Measure around the widest part of your child’s head, just above the eyebrows and ears, and choose by head circumference rather than age. XXS fits 46–50 cm, XS fits 49–53 cm and S fits 53–57 cm.

What is the difference between Standard and Mips?

Every Snapix has a fully covered PC shell that protects the EPS liner from everyday scuffs and knocks. The Mips version adds a system designed to help reduce rotational motion from certain angled impacts. Mips is available in XS and S.

Does Snapix have turn signals?

No. Snapix has a built-in white front light and a customizable RGB rear light, with no remote to set up. That way, young riders can keep both hands on the handlebars and their attention on the road, not on signal buttons.

Can my child change the rear light color?

Yes. In the Lumos App, choose from 8 RGB colors and animated light effects for the rear light.

Does Snapix sync with other Lumos lights?

Yes. Use the Lumos App to sync Snapix light patterns with compatible Lumos helmets and bike lights, so the whole family can flash together.

How long does the battery last?

It depends on the flash pattern and brightness setting. Generally, up to 12 hours in Slow Flash mode, 10 hours in Fast Flash mode and 4 hours in Always On mode.

What happens when my child outgrows it?

The front and rear lights are removable. When it’s time to size up, move them into the next compatible Snapix shell instead of replacing everything. Replacement shells are sold separately.

What’s in the box?

The Snapix helmet, 3 sticker sheets, a user manual and a quick start guide.

Is Snapix safety certified?

Yes. Snapix is certified to CPSC 16 CFR 1203 and EN 1078.

What is the warranty?

Every Lumos helmet includes a 1-year limited warranty. If the helmet is damaged in an accident within 2 years, get 30% off a replacement through the Accident Replacement Program.
